“Error” en la renovación de la subscripción en U2.com

El pasado Martes 23 de Marzo del 2010 comenzaron a llegar notificaciones a los buzones de @mail de los subscriptores del sitio oficial de U2, sobre la renovación de la membresía de U2.com, así como también la advertencia “En caso de no renovar antes de 30 días la membresía, esta misma expiraría”. A esto se informo que fue un error técnico del sitio oficial de U2, asimismo ya han sido notificados Live Nation y Fan Fire para que arreglen el desperfecto ya que estos últimos son quienes llevan las operaciones del sitio web, y cabe de mencionar que nadie perderá su cuenta en 30 dias como decía la notificación, a continuación se deja el mensaje original que se hace llegar atravez de “Baja Girl” una de los moderadores de la comunidad oficial de U2 ZOOTOPIA, a los subscriptores de U2.com

DISREGARD EXPIRATION NOTICE / RENEWAL EMAIL

In the last few weeks several members have had problems with their renewal notice emails not arriving. This problem is being fixed.

It seems that many if not all of you (including I) received emails saying your U2.com account expires in 30 days.

DISREGARD THIS EMAIL

When you log in, go to ACCOUNT INFO and on the pages that opens, on the left you will see your real expiry date.

I have adviced Fanfire and LN about the issue, and they are working on it, and yes, if you call customer service they wont have a clue.
